With deep sadness we mark the passing of Donny Gerrard, as beautiful and soulful a singer as he was a man. Our band, crew and I send our sincere condolences to his wife and family and to Mavis and her band and crew as well. We were blessed to become friends and get to hear the magic he brought every night to Mavis’ sets when we toured the U.S. together on my Slipstream Tour back in 2012-13.
